Brian Eno / David Byrne's New Joint...Strange Overtones & Tour Info

Family, Just a heads up...i will be jocking this shit most likely all over the place when i get it the 18th or hopefully sooner (hit me w/ an advance if you gots that son!!). The new song is one of the tightest put together tracks of the year. Eno kills the beat-arrangement and Byrne really really fills the gaps with a very dynamic assault on vox. One of the illest collaboration/side projects to ever go down, i'm just glad they are back after however many years. They seem to have done their homework but just taken it...next level. Just fucking ridiculous man...downloand that ish below ~ min.e

Brian Eno and I recently finished our first collaboration in about 30 years. For the most part, Brian did the music and I wrote some tunes, words and sang. It's familiar but completely new as well. We're pretty excited. The name of the new record is Everything That Happens Will Happen Today and the music will be available on this Web site on August 18th, free for streaming and available for purchase as both a download and in physical formats.

In September I will begin a tour, on which I will be playing music from the new album as well as music from our previous collaborations - 3 Talking Heads albums, Bush of Ghosts, etc.

In 2004, he formed the eight-piece indie rock collective in his native Indianapolis, naming the band after the Margot Tenenbaum character in Wes Anderson's sophisticated comedy The Royal Tenenbaums. The band's debut album, The Dust of Retreat, was issued on Standard in spring 2005. The picturesque dozen-song set is themed around the musicians' own fancies of Greenwich Village in the 1960s.
