Get Fitted with the illest joints in town, I think Tony Starks said it best when he told a young miniature horse...'If your footgame is official....you may be able to pull a bitch'.
Tigercity is one of the dopest up and coming bands that we have had the pleasure to work with this year. With a sound remeniscent of Roxy Music, Early Duran Duran & Bee Gee's...Tigercity is about to murder the game as soon as they put out their next EP which drops at the end of the summer on Aug 26th. Until then... they leaked out this gem. Had such a great time when they came thru Crowbar w/ VHS or Gheyta and can't wait to have them back for their OWN show!!!!!
GIL MANTERA'S PARTY DREAM = a bonafide aes >>> / Tampa Bay Favorite!!! - although they're known for their insane live show (dig around on their site for the evidence), this Synth-Pop / Indie-Disco / Mutant-Soul duo also brings some of the most infectious jams this writer's heard in quite some time... think POSTAL SERVICE meets DEVO meets HALL & OATES meets JOURNEY, or something like that!?!? - their last album, "Bloodsongs", was released in early '06 on (the drummer of BLACK KEYS...) Patrick Carney's Audio Eagle imprint - from Akron, OH
EUROLUNG - GMPD Live at the Bottle Rocket in Toldedo
What a great interview the World Famous Ultimate Donny gave us after raging backstage at the Stryper Tribute Show. Stay tuned for that EXCLUSIVE BE-EEZY INTERVIEW TO DROP NEXT WEEK!!!
until then...do work and spread the word about this show!!! Please
Family, Just a heads up...i will be jocking this shit most likely all over the place when i get it the 18th or hopefully sooner (hit me w/ an advance if you gots that son!!). The new song is one of the tightest put together tracks of the year. Eno kills the beat-arrangement and Byrne really really fills the gaps with a very dynamic assault on vox. One of the illest collaboration/side projects to ever go down, i'm just glad they are back after however many years. They seem to have done their homework but just taken it...next level. Just fucking ridiculous man...downloand that ish below ~ min.e
Brian Eno and I recently finished our first collaboration in about 30 years. For the most part, Brian did the music and I wrote some tunes, words and sang. It's familiar but completely new as well. We're pretty excited. The name of the new record is Everything That Happens Will Happen Today and the music will be available on this Web site on August 18th, free for streaming and available for purchase as both a download and in physical formats.
In September I will begin a tour, on which I will be playing music from the new album as well as music from our previous collaborations - 3 Talking Heads albums, Bush of Ghosts, etc.

MARGOT & THE NUCLEAR SO AND SO'S = highly recommended for fans of THE DECEMBERISTS, BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE, THE SHINS, NEUTRAL MILK HOTEL, BRIGHT EYES, ETC - from allmusic.com: "The dreamy bittersweet world of Margot & the Nuclear So and So's is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Richard Edwards. In 2004, he formed the eight-piece indie rock collective in his native Indianapolis, naming the band after the Margot Tenenbaum character in Wes Anderson's sophisticated comedy The Royal Tenenbaums. The band's debut album, The Dust of Retreat, was issued on Standard in spring 2005. The picturesque dozen-song set is themed around the musicians' own fancies of Greenwich Village in the 1960s. Playfully ironic, the modest Edwards has also admitted to critics that the bandmembers aim to play how they feel when they're watching Woody Allen films. In November 2005, Margot & the Nuclear So and So's signed with Artemis Records. A remixed and remastered version of The Dust of Retreat was released in March 2006, and the band relocated to the Epic roster while working on their sophomore release the following year." - brand new release, The Daytrotter Sessions EP, out July 29th, 2008... check that here.
